Two Angry Moms - Determined to Change School Lunches
simplesahm | November 15, 2007 A few minutes ago I posted the local public school menu onto a community calendar blog I operate. I don't normally give much thought to the meals our local schools serve our children, but I will soon.
My daughter will be attending school next year and quite honestly, I was a bit distraught by the "hot-lunch" choices she will be getting. "Hot Pockets", "Mac and Cheese", "Pizza"
Trust me, I am not opposed to feeding my kids quick and easy "pop in the microwave" foods. But it appears that the local schools are essentially serving glorified fast foods.
